This 15-credit certificate aims to provide students the necessary instruction to understand historical and contemporary issues, policies, and areas of agency that impact Afro-Latin Americans and Afro-Latinxs within regional, national, and transnational frameworks, and within relationships of solidarity and alliance with African American, African, and Indigenous populations
