Pitt's Department of Chemistry is internationally recognized for its excellence in chemical research and education. Our Bachelor of Science degree, with options in biological science, business, communications, computer science, education, and polymer science, allows our undergraduates to receive a quality education and go on to positions in industry, to professional schools, or to graduate chemistry programs in highly regarded institutions. The department provides its graduate students with an integrated program of creative, independent research, course work, and teaching.
