This 15-credit certificate addresses the need to learn how to design usable products and systems that meet genuine user needs, rather than treating the human user as an afterthought. This program consists of three components: a foundation course that includes a team project, as well as courses from the cognitive and physical domains of Human Factors Engineering (HFE).
